Chairman's Letter - August 30th, 2017

The progressives along with the alt-left of the democratic party (with help from the left-wing media) have become very adept in deceiving the public on a national scale. They not only distort the truth about those with whom they disagree (mostly Republicans) but they distort the truth about who they are today and what they were in the past. Let me point out a few facts:
1.President Lyndon B. Johnson was known to have said that his “Great Society” program would keep “n-word” voting for Democrats for the next 200 years. It was a political ploy to get blacks and other minorities to vote for democrats. It was the beginning of the “welfare program”.
2.The late great performer Sammy Davis Jr. was not allowed to attend JFK’s Inaugural Ball, despite all that he contributed to helping him win the Presidency.
3.In 1964, I was in Atlantic City, New Jersey (at the age of 14) at the site of the Democratic National Convention when they refused to seat the black delegates from Mississippi, known as the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party.
4.The following southern Governors were staunch segregationists (all Democrats):
Bull Connor, Alabama
Lester Maddox, Georgia
George C. Wallace, Alabama
Ross Barnett, Mississippi
American citizens, no matter what your personal political ideology may be, please study, research and know your history! Be not deceived by those who are willing to misrepresent “TRUTH”. The democratic party has some real dark history of racial discrimination, segregation and violent acts of racism. Somehow, they have proven to be successful at blaming others for the deeds that they were guilty of.
I heard a speech by the late Rev. Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. in my hometown of Charleston, S.C. (I was 15 years old). He said, “in this life people who are determined to oppress you will maximize the minimum and will minimize the maximum.”
Please take this moment to view a short video by OANN commentator Liz Wheeler. It is my hope that after you view this video “the light of truth” will shine brighter; as “TRUTH” is and will always be eternal.
Regards,
Tyrone K Jones, Sr.

A strong advocate for Religious Freedom, Stopping Refugee Resettlement in Georgia, and unnecessary Tax Hikes and State Fees, her professional interests focus on improving the quality of life for Barrow County Residents and the constituents of 47 the district of Georgia. In addition, she serves as President for The Lanier Tea Party Patriots, is the former Assistant Secretary for the Barrow County GOP, and is a member of the Barrow County Republican party. She was honored by Speak Up Georgia for her contributions to the upliftment and advancement of the Conservative Movement. She was also named to the Who’s Who Georgia Conservatives.

Lucretia C. Hughes was born in Commerce, GA on June 19, 1974. She is a proud mother of four and grandmother of 5. She graduated from Spartanburg High School in Spartanburg, SC in 1994. She returned to her Georgia roots in 1998. Since returning to Georgia, Lucretia’s life has been placed on a collision course with serving others. During the first attempts to pass Obamacare, Lucretia realized that our current Government officials did not have normal citizens’ interests at heart. She began to pay closer attention to State and Local officials and saw that the same things were occurring right here. At that point, she realized that if someone didn’t take a stand, we would be doomed to be knocked down. As of March 11, 2016, Lucretia decided that she would take that stand and make a difference.

Press Release - 18 Aug 2017

Press Release

August 18, 2017

Members of the Fayette County Republican Party believe very strongly that trust and confidence in our voting process is paramount to a free society, and that public officials should aggressively support every effort to uncover voter fraud. To that end, the FCRP sought to replace its own Board of Elections member who had thwarted her own Board's investigation into voter fraud – fraud that the GA Office of State Administrative Hearings concluded did, in fact, occur. However, the County Commissioners failed to certify the FCRP’s properly-designated replacement.
After forcing the matter into the courts, the Commission went on to seek $30,000 of attorney fees from the very group that exposed the fraud. While I am deeply disappointed by an Appellate Court's decision not to hear our case, I am not totally surprised in light of the County Commission’s refusal to provide key information from the underlying public trial.
I find their decisions a blatant disregard of Fayette County government’s stated mission to “remain open and accessible to all citizens” and to “generate trust and confidence.”
Far beyond this individual case, however, are those decisions’ chilling effects on citizens and groups seeking to expose the abuse of public trust, position, or corruption. And that should be a grave concern to all residents of Fayette County, regardless of their political leanings.
